Even if one concludes after looking at all the evidence that our nation is indeed racist, it is only fair that one should acknowledge and/or recognize the efforts of those who tried to prevent or eradicate these practices.
National prayer Service For President Barack Obama

As I watched the National Prayer Service for President Barack Obama, I was reminded of our responsibilities as Christians, ministers and pastors. As we all know, the scriptures tells us that “Righteousness exalts a nation,” and we are “the light of world” and “the salt of the earth.”

As Christians, it is not our job to advise the President on foreign policies, defense or the economy. But it is our job to do as other leaders of faith have done in the past, and that is to advise him on issues that do not line up with the Word of God. It is not enough for us to preach to our congregations about right and wrong, it is our responsibility to speak to the leadership of the nation as did several biblical patriots.

Obama may Be More Popular Than God

He is not known for freeing the slaves, he never sponsored or passed one Civil Rights Bill, he never marched one time to protest racial injustices, he never died for what he believed in, and he never served one day as President of the United States and yet he seem to far more popular than Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and perhaps God himself. His name is Barack Obama.

Am I Homo Phobic?

Recently, when President-elect Obama chose Rev. Rick Warren to give the invocation at the January 20, 2009 Presidential Inauguration, many gays and liberals protested because Rev. Warren supports a Constitutional Amendment on Marriage. Am I Homo Phobic is a carefully thought out editorial on the issue of homosexuality and heterosexuality.

Beyond Obama - What He Can't Do & What We Must Do

While millions of African Americans are lining up to elect America’s first black president and millions of conservatives are lining up to elect America’s first female vice president, few are lining up to make a difference in their community. Because the media places so much emphasis on the office of the President of the United States, many African Americans are overlooking the fact that many of the conditions that plague America’s inner-cities can not be solved by the President of the United States or by government officials (a fact that Obama has stated several times in his speeches and in his book: The Audacity of Hope).

Will Obama Supporters Spread the Wealth?

One of Obama’s primary campaign themes is to give tax relief to the middle class while taxing the rich so that we can spread the wealth. This is a very noble endeavor and similar to a work that I started as a teenager to feed the poor during the holiday season. Since millions of Obama followers share his concern for the less fortunate and middle class, I suggest the following:
