Wayne Perryman on Sean Hannity Show

When Wayne Perryman was on Fox's Sean Hannity Show last week - Tuesday October 18, 2011, the opposing guest brought up the question on voter ID and how voter ID was designed by Republicans to keeps blacks and minorities from voting. Rev. Perryman didn't have time to address the question, so he decided to write a short editorial about it. Here it is.

One of Reasons Why Perryman Filed Suit Against Democratic Party

When you consider the fact that the Democratic Party was the political party that gave their lives to preserve and maintain the institution of slavery, one can understand why their name ends with the word "rat"

Racism Everyone is Tired of Talking About it and Hearing About it

RACISM

Racism is a topic that Whites, Blacks, Asians, Latinos and Native Americans are tired of hearing about and tired of the reality of its existence. They are also tired of the antagonizing approaches by the NAACP, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when a black is shot by a white police officer or when a black Harvard professor is arrested at his home by a white police officer. These situations seem to only infuriate some, while causing others in their frustration to say: “here we go again.” The sad reality is that no one seem to be willing to talk about racism until there is an incident.

Even if one concludes after looking at all the evidence that our nation is indeed racist, it is only fair that one should acknowledge and/or recognize the efforts of those who tried to prevent or eradicate these practices.
National prayer Service For President Barack Obama

As I watched the National Prayer Service for President Barack Obama, I was reminded of our responsibilities as Christians, ministers and pastors. As we all know, the scriptures tells us that “Righteousness exalts a nation,” and we are “the light of world” and “the salt of the earth.”

As Christians, it is not our job to advise the President on foreign policies, defense or the economy. But it is our job to do as other leaders of faith have done in the past, and that is to advise him on issues that do not line up with the Word of God. It is not enough for us to preach to our congregations about right and wrong, it is our responsibility to speak to the leadership of the nation as did several biblical patriots.

Obama may Be More Popular Than God

He is not known for freeing the slaves, he never sponsored or passed one Civil Rights Bill, he never marched one time to protest racial injustices, he never died for what he believed in, and he never served one day as President of the United States and yet he seem to far more popular than Abraham Lincoln, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and perhaps God himself. His name is Barack Obama.

Recently, when President-elect Obama chose Rev. Rick Warren to give the invocation at the January 20, 2009 Presidential Inauguration, many gays and liberals protested because Rev. Warren supports a Constitutional Amendment on Marriage. Am I Homo Phobic is a carefully thought out editorial on the issue of homosexuality and heterosexuality.
